摘要：
公共理性是公共阐释论的核心概念，它是人类理性一般，是意识主体普遍持有的智识能力，是植根历史、面对当下的有效观念系统，是检验人文“真”与真理的初始标准。如此定义的公共理性，不是政治标准，不是道德戒律，不是乌托邦空想。公共理性是意识主体的内在禀赋，与个体理性协同一致，普遍作用于人类认识和实践的全部过程，无人无事可以例外。经由实践检验的公共理性，从意识主体普遍持有的智识能力，到根植历史、面向当代的观念系统，是人类精神共在及人文真创造的基石、条件、前提。正确把握运用公共理性，把握认知人文“真”之真谛，对推进人类各项事业，尤其是精神科学事业的存有与进步，具有生命性意义。

Abstract:
Public rationality is a core concept in the theory of public hermeneutics. It represents a general form of human rationality, a universally held intellectual capacity of conscious subjects, an effective system of ideas rooted in history and confronting the present, and the initial criterion for examining the humanistic “truth” and truth. Defined in this way, public rationality is not a political standard, a moral precept, nor a utopian fantasy. Public rationality is an inherent endowment of conscious subjects, in harmony with individual rationality, and universally operates throughout the entire process of human cognition and practice, with no exceptions for individuals or matters. Public rationality tested by practice, from the universally held intellectual capacity of conscious subjects to the system of ideas rooted in history and oriented towards the present, serves as the foundation, condition, and prerequisite for the coexistence of human spirits and the creation of genuine humanities .
