Abstract: In the current context of internet popular culture, “pure knowledge” within Western epistemology has been disenchanted by the masses. Through the generalization of concepts and the reconstruction of meaning, a form of “non-knowledge” has emerged, which has become the actual referent of knowledge within the realm of popular culture. By leveraging technological contexts, “non-knowledge” has achieved its own legitimation. Characterized by weakened specialization, datafication, accessible expression, and a heightened focus on empirical matters, “non-knowledge” has become a vital tool for modern individuals to understand and engage with the experiential world. While facilitating the circulation and exchange of memory, it also signals the advent of a state of “industrialization of memory,” offering structural insights for future-oriented knowledge production.
