摘要: 解放区后期文学中的国民性批判,主要通过揭露落后农民的等级意识、迷信观念、守旧思想、自私心理和看客心态等精神痼疾展开。开展对国民性的批判,是这一时期解放区作家自觉追求、有意作为的结果。它继承和弘扬了“五四”启蒙传统,也响应和贯彻了当时主流意识形态所提出的“教育人民”的要求,表现出了以“我们所写的东西”使他们“去掉落后的东西”的努力。这一批判在思想领域展开,固然具有“启蒙”的思想价值;同时,又以其对“救亡”的促进作用,取得了超越思想领域的政治的和社会的价值。

Abstract:

The criticism of nationality in the later period of the liberated area literature was mainly carried out by revealing the mental illnesses of backward farmers, such as hierarchical consciousness, superstitious beliefs, conservative thoughts, selfishness and onlooker psychology. Criticizing nationality is the result of the conscious pursuit and action of writers in the liberated areas during this period. It inherited and carried forward the enlightenment tradition of“May 4th”, and responded to and implemented the requirement of“educate the people”put forward by the mainstream ideology at that time, and showed that“what we did”made them“get rid of backward things”. This batch of the criticism has the ideological value of“enlightenment”. At the same time, by promoting“salvation”, it has achieved political and social value beyond the ideological field.
