线性技术进步观反思——以电动汽车的发展为例

The Reflection on the Linear View of Technological Progress: The Case of Electric Vehicle Development

摘要:

科技创新和技术进步并非一蹴而就,需要同时期各类技术的融合、工艺流程的积累以及市场竞争的检验。在科技竞争日益激烈的年代,人们对于科技创新的迫切期待却时常形成一种基于线性技术进步观的浪漫主义想象,例如高估技术进步的速度、无视市场机制在技术进步中的作用以及忽视技术发展的具体情境等。这种想象也带来诸多迷思,包括急于实现跨越式技术发展、迷信资本投入与结果成正比以及过于超前的技术伦理探讨。从电动汽车的发展经验来看,即便有先进的技术理念,实现技术进步也需要经历长期的探索、积累和市场检验的过程,因而需要建立一种务实和演进的技术进步观。

Abstract:

Scientific innovation and technological advancement are not achieved overnight. On the contrary, these changes require the coordinated development and integration of various technologies simultaneously, the accumulation of technical knowledge over time, and rigorous testing through market competition. However,individuals often hold romantic views regarding the speed of technological progress due to their urgent expectations for scientific and technological innovation. This includes overestimating the speed, overvaluing the heroic role, and overlooking the market mechanism or specific contexts. This romantic imagination has also led to numerous myths, particularly in an era of intensified technological competition, such as the eagerness to achieve leapfrog technological development, the belief that increased capital investment leads to greater benefits, and overly advanced ethical discussions about technology. Using the development experience of electric vehicles as an example, we can conclude that although advanced ideas are essential, realizing technological progress requires a combination of research and development, accumulation, and market testing. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a pragmatic and evolutionary view of technological progress.
