From ancient Greek philosophy of axial civilization and Confucian philosophy to modern Enlightenment philosophy, a bottom line of civilization is presupposed: human beings are the subjects, and the overall interests of humanity and the individual’s life, freedom and dignity are paramount. The development of AI technology should also have a ceiling.
