Abstract: Within the macro framework of civilizational evolution and the transformation of writing technologies, the AI era signifies humanity’s entrance into the “intelligent civilization” stage, where writing behaviors are undergoing fundamental reconstruction. The intervention of AI will bring about eight major transformative trends in writing: the transfer of writing sovereignty from humans to AI, forming a shared relationship; the weakening of creative subjectivity and personalized styles due to the “averaging” logic of technology; the shift of primary dialogue contexts from interpersonal to human-machine; the dissolution of the authority of personal writing; the potential termination of literary history narratives marked by individual canonization; the difficulty in generating new academic paradigms due to information homogenization; the transformation of literary works into intelligent products; and the ritualization of writing and reading behaviors themselves. Relying on massive corpora and powerful computational capabilities, AI writing can efficiently produce texts, but it may also lead to the dilution of intellectual depth, artistic uniqueness, and the richness of life experiences. Ultimately, this will reshape the essential attributes of literature and the cultural production ecosystem.
